Meet The Staff
Esther M. Murray-Purnell, M.Ed.
Esther M. Murray-Purnell is the Founder and CEO of Salty Oasis, LLC. Esther is known for her exceptional capacity to accurately assess, evaluate, and provide comprehensive plans that help adults and children to maximize their fullest potential, educationally and personally.
Esther will assist each adult and/or child by using professional strategies and practical approaches that will assist with the overall plan development.
Esther earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Delaware State University and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from Wilmington University. Esther has been an educator for over 35 years. Twenty of those years were spent in the classroom as an Emotional Support teacher and the remaining 13 as a School Administrator/Principal. Esther is a member of Schools To Watch, Psi Chi National Honor Society and has received additional training from the Pennsylvania and National Institutes of School Leadership (PISL/NISL).
Chanel K. Purnell, M.Ed.
Chanel Purnell is an Assessment and Comprehensive Plan Specialist at Salty Oasis, LLC. Chanel is a certified Teacher in both Pennsylvania and Delaware. Chanel has over 15 years of experience as an Emotional Support Teacher. Chanel has earned a Bachelor’s degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Master’s degree In Special Education from Widener University. Chanel has experience with assessing learning and growth data, IEP writing and development, and constructing individual child and behavioral assessments that hone in on specific strategies that target student need and growth.
